Holding down the low end, Ryan employs a variety of techniques and styles on the bass. With a unique background as a classical clarinetist, he frequently transforms the bass from its rhythm role in to a lead melodic voice. But don’t think the boy can’t groove! In addition to his role in Stormy Chromer, Ryan holds the position of Principal Clarinet with the Michigan Philharmonic Orchestra. He is an active music educator, teaching students of all ages privately. Beyond his musical engagements Ryan enjoys hiking, biking, playing disc golf, and traveling to visit National Parks.
